Find And Run Robot / Focus Problem
« on: March 05, 2006, 05:51 AM »
I think this has already been reported, and I already talked with mouser about this. But i thought it was only happening to me.
Recently, someone in the irc channel told me he as having the same problem, so i thought the best way was to post it and see if someone else also has it.

The problem is: sometimes, when i press alt+space to open farr, farr comes up but doesn't have the focus. And also, the alt+space seems to get sent to the active window.

Anyone having the same problem?

Finished Programs / DONE: Eject!
« on: March 04, 2006, 03:23 PM »
I created this script because it has happened to me lots of times forgetting a cd (dvd) inside the computer after shuting it down.
It's really anoying to have to be always turning the computer on again to get that cd.

But fear not, Eject! comes in salvation of those who suffer from the same bad as I do.
This script opens the cd tray right before shutdown if there is any cd inside!

I didn't make it open all cd trays because some people might have virtual drives, and that might have strange behaviours.
But on it's first run, it creates a ini file that can be edited to contain all the drives you want.
The attached compressed file has the executable, the ahk source and the example ini file.
Hope you like it.

(note: this script can easily be added to other ahk scripts you have running.)

Living Room / Microsoft Origami
« on: March 04, 2006, 06:53 AM »
No, it has nothing to do with folding paper ;)
But still, looks like a good idea.
Anyone knows something about it?
I found this video, and this article (found on digg.com).
It's some sort of mini laptop, with proising features.
I think it was already released (or should be), but i couldn't find anything on microsoft.com .
The really important thing here is the price (i.e. if it's really realy cheaper than a laptop) and the functionality (if it's not a brick-like thing with a bunch of built-in functionalities and no chances of expanding).

Clipboard Help+Spell / Startup problem?
« on: March 03, 2006, 07:01 PM »
First of all, I love this program, I don't know how I've survived without it for so many computer-using years.
Now.. The bad news.
I got tired of starting CHS by hand, so, I set CHS to start with windows by adding a shortcut to it in the startup folder.
But ever since i did it, it gave me problems on windows startup.
Some screenshots (courtesy of our good friend screenshot captor ;) )might explain it better:
