General Software Discussion / Firefox 43.01 available through Firefox but no release info

I just updated Firefox to to version 43.01 (released Dec 18, 2015) via the Help About menu. I was expecting 43.0  :huh:
It also appears that there is no release info about the changes for 43.01 on Mozilla at the moment.

Release Notes don't exist, but only:

Clipboard Help+Spell / Re: Clipboard Help and Spell - New Name?

I think the word "Help" is confusing in the name.  "Helper" would be an improvement, but "History" would be much better, IMO.

My suggestion would be "Clipboard History+Spellchecker" which would provide a good description of what the program does and why someone would want it.

"Clipboard History+Spell" would be nearly as informative and a little shorter.

Good suggestion, imo. I use the program very occasionally, and the Clipboard Help part throws me off until I have a look at its main page on DC and remember what it is for.
Then again, being a serial downloader of freeware, I'm often at a loss when looking at older downloads, so I've started to keep a text file with the same name as the download (well, name and version)  containing the original url and description,  plus checksums if they were provided. Any memory aid helps...

Wow, things have changed so much since this question and Poll was first posted. Is Google Desktop Search still around? (I really didn't like that displaying of search results in a web browser).

Nowadays I would think a "Best" Desktop search would very much depend on your requirements and what viewers are important to you.

I'm a great fan of Everything Search, but that is because I mainly search for files rather than strings in files, and built-in viewers aren't that important to me.

I also still use Total commander a lot, and it works well enough for searching in text files when I know which folder(s) to search. The free MultiCommander has a pretty good File Search add-on.
But I guess these two aren't really Desktop Search tools.

Still not 100% up, especially for smaller projects. Code::Blocks, Dev C++, Lazarus IDE and PortableApps downloads are available, while small open source utilities like AkelPad Text Editor and ASuite (menu) aren't.
