Living Room / Re: How many furries here at DC?
« on: April 22, 2009, 02:00 PM »
I am probably a slight furry, though it's probably more scalie than furry, and even more geary/whatever you call robot fandom.
I'd never go around stating that i'm not human inside and out, though, as that would be like calling a pencil a dishwasher. (Those nouns were picked randomly, mind you)
This mainly reflects in my choice of subject when doing pixel art, as i'd usually choose to sprite a robot over a human/living being.

Well, the need to take a break from the computer very rarely strikes me (being one o' those teen gamers and such), but i can imagine how you feel. Stuff needs to get done, and it won't happen while the computer is on, so the only thing to do would be to turn it off.
But for me, it's actually pretty much the opposite, needing to have a break from the relentless schoolwork. In week 14 this year, we had no less than 6 assignments due different days in the week (could have been 8, if the Danish/English essays weren't due the preceding week). It's pretty stressful to sit on a Saturday and think: "Oh god, 2 assignments for Monday, 1 for Tuesday, another 1 for Wednesday..." and so on. It just feels... Overwhelming. That's when i start to think that i need a break, but i also know that my mother would have a fit if i didn't do the assignments. (Worth noting is that i made them all, just so i don't seem too lazy)
...
And yet again i manage to ramble. Enjoy your break! :)

I laughed, so hard. Best article EVER! ;D
... He/she/they forgot to mention that a large part of every human body consists of DHMO. Truly an infestation of pandemic proportions, this.

Oh no, absolutely not. It's probably just me being bad at expressing myself. It's just that in my experience, the internet isn't always reliable when it comes to telling true stories. (Though it should be mentioned that DC is the nicest bunch o' people i've met on the internet, by far)
Just disregard my previous questions, doesn't matter anyhow. But thank you for... Uhm... Darn, can't find the words, but thanks. :)

I found myself compulsively firing up the Gimp and adding lightsabers to pictures that caught my fancy in travels around the 'net.
I find this awesome. Way to go, man! :)
Also, gorillas with lightsabers? Whoa. Now we just need a manta ray lightsaber battle. ;)
