Mouser, I've got a couple of TrueCrypt volumes listed in my Search Folders list - drives  M:\ and N:\.  In the last couple of versions (I finally just figured it out today though) I keep losing them...  they all turn into C:\.  Didn't used to happen - but it seems to be an issue now every time I turn off my computer (or maybe just unmount the volumes?  I haven't explored further).

Becoming a real pain to have to re-configure my search folders every time I start my computer...  I'm hoping it'd be an easy fix?

Let me know if you need any more specific information about it.  I'm running 2.60.01 on WinXP SP3 and I think it was happening at least in the version immediately prior to this as well.

Thanks!

UPDATE:  Just figured it out.  Happens not when the volumes become unmounted, but on restart when FARR launches before the TrueCrypt volumes are mounted the first time.  So apparently when FARR launches it looks for the drive letters in Search Folders and if doesn't find them it resets them back to C:\.  Hope that helps.  Thanks again!

Mouser, did something change in your very last version with the new delayed search feature and/or the "stop search on exact regex match"?  (I'm not sure which might be causing the problem)

I have an alias called "disable", which had a regex of ^disable (.*)? and it used to work well - I would type "dis", hit tab to complete and life was good (especially since the delayed search was implemented).  Suddenly, now, as soon as I type "dis" the program starts searching (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu specifically, so it says in the status bar) for 3 or 4 seconds before it matches the alias.  I changed the regex to ^(dis|disable) (.*)? to see if it would make any difference, but alas, no.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

PS - is there any place I can download an old version of the program to test against?  I was going to double-check what I said against 2.55.01 to see if something really changed with the version or if something is screwy with my system.

Mouser, the new experimental delay is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!     I'm running AVG Anti-Virus on my computer and (from what I've read), that can make FARR pretty slow... and that's really been my experience as well.  Often times I'll begin typing in something and there is a 4-5 second delay after typing the first letter before FARR will recognize anything else I type - but the new delay has fixed that - and it's WONDERFUL!!!

THANK YOU!!!!

+1 on the request to implement this  :)

hm... you had to put < b > and < / b > as starting and ending chars inside a timer plugin, right? I did not :) Actually there was supposed to be b0 and b1 or similar ;)

To the issue. I will take a look at it ;)

Oh, you're right!!  Sorry, I forgot all about that!
