Nope, using plain ol' XP SP2, no special shell.

By the way, the taskbar button for screenshot captor does nothing when I click it. The only thing it responds to is right-click, close. And it's the same on my office machine.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I don't have it in my startup folder. Nevertheless, whenever I reboot, I get a ScreenshotCaptor button in my task bar that I have to close manually.

I'm having the same problem. Any word on a fix for this?

it should only ever appear ONCE.
there is apparently an issue with sc not saving its settings on reboot - try this: just start the program, and then exit it from tray.
you should never see that message again.  if you do, then it's not saving its settings properly and the task will be to figure out why not.

Thanks, that worked.

Screenshot Captor / Balloon on startup

How do I turn off the startup balloon message that says something like "Hi, look down here, I'm screenshot captor." Kind of obnoxious.
