implemented and will be in next release.
Knew that was coming based on our previous discussions cheesy. I really think is the wrong way to go for this though. from a ui standpoint you would be adding an additional dropdown/up box. i think this would add another layer of complexity and it just doesn't seem that intuitive. Not sure how this would work for mutliple result aliases unless you only had one type of search group. It seems like extra steps for me and not as flexible.
It seems like extra steps for me and not as flexiblei don't see any extra step and i think it would it be more flexible and fast ?

We have too much fun developing software and getting feedback from users to switch to a slower development cycle
Just wanted to point out that you can now specify which file extensions should be found in each configured search directory. You can also use keyword modifiers to enable and disable these folders on a per-search basis.
One of the features i want to add very soon is an OPTION to say that FARR should not try to match aliases or plugins unless you start your search with a special character. this could help avoid situations where people are having aliases accidentally trigger when they dont want them to.
so if the option was enabled for example then if you just type search words it will only match against files on your disk.
and to get an alias you would do like @music, at which point it would ONLY match against aliases.
