General Software Discussion / Re: MsgTag down?
« on: February 16, 2014, 11:43 AM »
They've gone down before, seemingly disappeared, then re-emerged.  I don't know if that will be the case this time.  Self-hosted would be nice.  I don't know of one though.

A couple of alternatives that I'm looking at:

Find And Run Robot / Re: Another FARR similar app - Executor
« on: August 25, 2009, 11:26 PM »
I was using Executor and switched to FARR when I found it.  Just overall more friendly and flexible.

I had been using Executor and am switching to FARR.  Much more powerful, thanks!

Here are my requests/suggestions:

1) I would like to keep the search bar visible on the desktop and located at the bottom of the screen just above the taskbar.  Unfortunately, with every search, it moves up to the middle and stays there.  This leads to:

2) Allow the results list to popup above the search bar instead of only below.  I would guess either an option to specify which direction or automatically based on room available on the screen.  I think this would then allow leaving the bar at the bottom of the screen.  Maybe an option to lock its position (prevent dragging).

3) With full path displayed as one of the columns, it would be most convenient to have a "hint" popup when hovering the mouse pointer over the field when the text is truncated.

Thanks for your consideration and great work.

Thanks Mouser,

I'm not overly mad.  Just venting aggravation when I realized and disappointed that the discount isn't currently available.

Jees!  I just realized this is all from 2005  >:(  Please remove the info about the promotion from the review!!  At least put the year after April 4th!

Hi Mouser,

I am running the Outpost Pro trial and decided to purchase with the 50% discount, but still can't find it now on the last day of the promotion.  I sent an email to you with same info.  If Agnitum has agreed to this promotion and still has not provided a code, perhaps it will be extended?

Thanks............
