General Software Discussion / Re: Parts Manual on CD thru TV?
« on: December 19, 2007, 02:27 PM »
I may have posted this here previously but in case I didn't..........
http://www.mihov.com/eng/im.html

This is a freeware html index generator that I use frequently.
If you download a series of web pages you can index the pages with Mihov's index tool. I often compile the list and the index into an html help file (.chm)
The process Ralf discribed prior triggered this. Using the index and the back button to navigate saves coding all the links.

Thanks Ralf,

The parts list is about 3mb (xls) and I haven't downloaded all the schematics and diagrams yet. I think one of those Clymer Shop Manuals for about $20 is their best bet.
The guy's boss gave him a Makita Power Plant, 5700 watts, that you can hear clear over in Napa County..........
I'm not really sure I want to aid and abet???
At about $3.80 a gal for gasoline I'm going to recommend a candle if the power goes off.
Thanks,  8)

General Software Discussion / Parts Manual on CD thru TV?

Does anyone know off hand if I can download a parts manual, burn it to CD, so my neighbor can view it on his TV?
They don't have a computer.
TIA

Sounds like "Payday Power" to me.
More points, more power, more presents.
A screw-up will put you deep in debt.

General Software Discussion / Re: Idea: File note
« on: December 19, 2007, 10:16 AM »
GiorgosK ,

I don't know if you followed this conversation from the beginning but it started when my copy of Filenote from Moonsoftware wouldn't work on this install of XPPro64.
NOD came up with Filenoter, which works fine, and then I got your File Notes installed correctly so it also works as planned.
The point here is that both apps work with a 64 bit OS. The last time I checked the app by MoonSoftware still wouldn't work at 64 bits. BigJim has been in contact with MoonSoftware and they plan on doing some upgrading of their products soon.
Maybe we'll get another new toy soon? I love new toys (especially free ones)!
Again, thanks to all!

Happy Holidays,

Cuffy
