FARR Plugins and Aliases / Locate32 used for Local Dictionary search
« on: January 14, 2008, 02:17 AM »
You may have found request for local dictionary search for FARR. Now I come with a simplified method. Is this possible?:
1) I would say to local32: search for me in these (selected) dictionary files (tab files etc) and return me number of line and name of file of each occurence of searched entry
2) Than I would just open the files and go directly to the line where the occurence was found and plot it to farr

Such way I would be probably able to do it in javascript, so the only problem is: Is Locate32 able to do it for me?

Hi, I am just currious. Has anybody started on coding local dictionary search? It would be wonderful if it cooperated with tab files, babylon files and stardict files or at least some of them :). I have many dictionaries and have to use stardict now which I do not like... farr plugin would be much better!

Developer's Corner / VC++ VSZ Wizard - help
« on: January 05, 2008, 09:30 AM »
Could somebody here, who understands VC++ help me? I use program called Allplan and they offer SDK kit, but unfortunately they offer wizard (VSZ) only for VC++ 2003. I would like to do a few script in VC++ express 2008 using this SDK (to learn it). So could somebody here pls check if it is possible to use it with 2008 express edition and tell me how to use it? I have tried several times to fix it somehow but with no luck.

The link for SDK kit is here:

and the main page:

PS: I must say that I know coding only in PHP, Pascal and a little bit C++. So I am completely lost with wizards creation etc :(

Find And Run Robot / Re: Restore state of FARR
« on: January 04, 2008, 03:56 AM »
I agree with lanux128. That is exactly what I want

one more problem found: When I change regular expression for Fcalc to "^ (.*)$|^ $" (so when I type "space" it starts fcalc) and write some expression and hit enter it switches from space back to its default "fc ". (for now I have solved it by such an expression "^ (.*)$|^ $|^fc (.*)$|^fc$"

Find And Run Robot / Restore state of FARR

I can not find any option to enable restoring of last state. By that I mean, that f.e. I do several calculations of this kind "fc 5+5" and afterwards I close the window. And when I call FARR back I would like to have completely the same state as it was when I closed it. Is there any option like this?
Thank you ;)

I use drivehq and I am completely satisfied ;)

EDIT: it has got synchronization, incremental backup etc. 1GB is free  :-*

I have switched from CLCL to DITTO. I love the search tool in DITTO which I really missed in CLCL.
