CovArt Ops was designed from the start with the idea of one album per folder.  Therefore, it doesn't know or care about the actual album involved.  Did I misunderstand your suggestion?  If so, please explain it in more detail.

It detects the album name by the mp3 files themselves though, doesn't it? My music collection is organized so all MP3s are named Authorname - Songname.mp3, in one single folder.

Are you positive you're using the new version?  Help, About should show "v1.0.9 build 1".

Oops, for some reason it wasn't copying correctly.  :-[

3
Still reproducing the same error, even with the new version.

Suggestion: Could you add the ability to use it on a folder full of mp3s (no subfolders), and get the album name from the metadata?

4
Which OS?

Windows XP Pro SP3

5
I get a "Shell init failed" error when opening the program.

Oops, I must have held ctrl+v down a second too long  :D

While we're on the topic of Homebrew, I recently applied the Bannerbomb hack to my Wii. I still haven't figured out how to
Spoiler
play downloaded games

on it, but it's very nice to be able to transfer avi movies from my computer to the SD card and play them on the Wii.  :)

If anyone's interested, I wrote an article on how to get Homebrew on your wii on wikiHow.

Edvard, thanks for that link! I read the stories a long time ago and enjoyed them, but then I forgot the website.

My username originates from a while back, when I was first getting interested in the Internet and my friend was helping me sign up for Neopets  :P

I couldn't think of a username, so he asked me what my favorite restaurant was, and I answered Fresh Choice. So he suggested Choicefresh, and it's catchy so I use it for most websites nowadays.

I'm not so active on the website, but I wouldn't mind housing Baby Cody in California  :-[

Is it possible to replicate the file from a URL? That would be awesome.

My opinions:

Adobe Reader -- Foxit Reader is faster, smaller, and does the same.
Apple -- I hate the Apple Updater for Windows. It keeps coming back and wants me to download QuickTime and iTunes.
Windows Update -- It's fine, besides the restart part. That can be disabled either through FARR, or one of the methods here.
RealPlayer -- FAILS EPICALLY
Java -- Not that bad. You can uncheck the Yahoo! toolbar, and disable automatic updates if you want.
Yahoo! -- Their mail is great. For the messenger, I use Pidgin.
Norton AntiVirus -- I've heard a couple of good reviews, but it's SO MEMORY-HOGGING!
Preinstalled software bundles -- I uninstall everything I understand. The only good thing I ever got out of it was PowerDvd, which VLC is an alternative for.
Outlook -- Thunderbird.
Flash -- Flash games are cool, but I hate all-flash websites. They're so slow!

Yep...I also thought he was moving his computer mouse with his mind, until I saw the screenshot  ;D

Skrommel's Software / False Positives?
« on: August 02, 2008, 04:57 PM »
Today, I downloaded a-squared Anti-Malware 3.5 through giveawayoftheday.com. Strangely, it detected AutoClip and NoStrayClicks as Trojan-Spy.Win32.Agent.brh. During the scan, Avira AntiVir detected GoneIn60s as TR/Agent.206999.P Trojan.

Maybe we should contact a-squared and/or Avira...

EDIT: a-squared Anti-Malware 3.5 also detects OSD Mute as Backdoor.Win32.Shark.ks...

It seems to work well on Firefox so far. Just downloaded ProcessTamer a couple of days ago.
