Hi mouser,

See, that's just my fault for not understanding the setup. I was trying to edit FindAndRunRobot.ini

Thanks for explaining the files.

Cheers,

Mitch

Okay, thanks! So, for future updates, I just unzip into the same folder, right?

Cheers,

Mitch

Hi mouser!

It's already too late for this version, but I would like to know the best way to do a portable upgrade from the older version of FARR to the current version, while preserving my settings.

I downloaded the latest version to a folder outside of the older version. Was that a mistake?
I tried adding a custom alias directly to the new FindAndRunRobot.ini by pasting from the old one. It was overwritten when I restarted FARR.  :-[

Anyway, what's the proper way to do this?

Cheers,

Mitch

Oh, yes, Ultra Explorer is now with Search:up:
- set hotkey in Tools > Customize > Shortcuts

 (see attachment in previous post)

Thanks Curt!
It's little tips like these that keep me from actively pursuing a replacement for UE. Every time I search for "Better than UltraExplorer", nothing interesting comes up :)

Cheers,

Mitch

Hi!
I would love to try using Barnacle. Alas, the Barnacle.rtf file didn't come with the exe (one 1 hour software site). I read an earlier post that said this file would be created by the exe.

Can anybody point me to the rtf file?

Thanks,

Mitch (Anklebuster)
