General Software Discussion / changing screen color at specified times

I have tried some apps now to control screen brightness/contrast and haven't found any that change the color profiles at a given time, like "daylight"
"twilight"
"night (lights on)"
"night (lights off)"

do you know of a program that does this or a workaround?

Scare clueless innocents? Duh! 

Not just a random program. A program or file from a list. You could make dynamic help files that guide you through the process of creating certain files or through complicated tasks, but the possibilities are ENDLESS! 

The "random" feature would be just for (my) fun!

1. Random File:
An application that runs (or generates) files or programs randomly or at a specified time.

2. Random Sound:
I was searching for a random sound generator that plays while a screensaver ( http://www.reallyslick.com ) is running. But a shuffled playlist does that almost just as good. Still, it would be nice.

3. Random Image:
An app that generates (random) patterns from a given value in fullscreen. Preferrably a screensaver, but it needs an option to save the image and other options like color or detail depth.
