The Form Letter Machine / For Social Workers- Casenotes.
« on: September 19, 2007, 07:27 AM »
We social workers just hate paperwork...

Lets see, how could I better use this program???

Actually- I'm playing with it and it's awesome for paper-work hating workers!!  (government sure does requrire a lot of useless paperwork)

1.  Be able to import easily into Word.

2.  Be able to edit right in the paragraph, after it's created.  (now it looks like you have to copy it)-- not really a very big deal.

3.  Perhaps "drop down boxes" for the "pick one" catagories...  In case they get too long.  For exampe- I would love to be able to put a drop down box of my 36 clients names/ social security numbers..

I think that would about do it.

Vicki

One thing about Icontact-  Only about 28 percent of people are opening my emails.. And these are highly targeted lists...  Very useful newsletters to the people that get them.  Do you think they are going to people's spam box due to the server?  Maybe it would be better to use something else..  When I have some time, I will check into this more.

Hey, thanks to everyone who responded..  I ended up using IContact
It's working out really good for me.  The only bummer is the monthly fee..  So I will look at the others you all have suggested.  Sorry- I haven't been back here for a while, and didn't get any email response to let me know I got posts back.

I'm looking at it...  But I have no idea how to use outlook.  I have computer skills of a 3rd grader.
I'm going to look more at the screen shots to see if it's something I can figure out.

Thanks!!

Anything that bypasses outlook??  I know how to use WORD!!

General Software Discussion / Need a mass email program

I am looking for an email program to send out monthly newsletters.    Not spam- I have a website-  supportcoordinators.com and want to send out newsletters to other support coordinators.

We need a program that is EASY to use-  I am bad with computers.. And can do the following

- Be able to add email addresses, and the program will detect or delete duplicates

-  Create nice looking emails- colors, fonts, links, etc.  Or be able to copy what we make into the email program

-  Avoid getting my email address turned off!!  Not appear as spam.

-  Be able to keep track of a list of up to 5,000 emails

- Be able to send emails to over 1000 people at a time.

-

thanks!!  By the way- I love what you guys do.. and wrote about you on my website under "Useful".
