General Software Discussion / Removing password protection from a KeyNote file
« on: April 18, 2015, 02:21 AM »
How does one eliminate password protection from a KeyNote 1.6.5 file (that's KeyNote, the freeware outliner note-taking program).
I've built a lengthy KeyNote document, but now want to import it into TreeDBnotes. TreeDBnotes claims to be able to do import .KNT files, but I am unable to - I suspect it's because my .KNT file is password protected. How do I remove the password protection in KeyNote? File/Properties/Security allows me to change my password but I cannot see a way to eliminate or nullify the password altogether. Leaving the 'new password' box blank and hitting 'enter' is not allowed.
Many thanks,
Al
