My problem with Wordpress is that it is fundamentally driven by the blog format, which really just means it's governed by chronological order.  It takes a lot to organize your content in any other way other than chronologically.  And I hate that.

WordPress is good and you can do a fine website with it as well with all the extensions, but I must agree with superboyac that I don't like the chronological order and the blog format. It depends what you want to sell through your e-commerce site - with some it might not matter. I'm thinking of setting up a site as well and include tomatocart. But first I still need to still get all the basics like a domain and web hosting. Then I'll think of the rest.

I have been programming a lot of Java for the longest time and never thought of developing cloud computing on my own. My most recent additions to my arsenal would probably still be maximizing computer cores for programming using threads.  They are not only threads but they are allocated to using available cpu cores for parallel computation.

Pardon me if this post was irrelevant to yours but it was just a good food for thought.

Well, quite frankly, there is no cheap solution to hardware faults on that piece of machine as they are already discontinued.  Your best bet would be to look online for those who took apart their computers and sell them by pieces of parts.

Or, go directly to Apple which as you said would cost you more.  I think that the better intelligent answer to this is not to have gotten that thing in the first place. It is a very old piece of hardware which has very little to be spoken off really.

I do not get why some installation force you to take software included changes like this.  I mean, you would download and install one when you need it but they should not incorporate it with another software.

I understand that could only be their way of getting installs but if they do not, they should live with it. Probably go venture on another field you can do better not forcing yourself on something that would cost others.

Living Room / Re: 64 Bit OS - When to Switch ?

I would have to say that if you have hardware that can keep up with a 64 bit OS, then you should take the jump immediately.  There is no reason to stay with 32 if you could get better allocation with 64, that is of course talking about a lot of memory in need for a better allocation scheme. It would not matter that much if you only have 2gb of memory.  Though an earlier statement, would be misleading if taken differently, as a 64 bit can also work with 32bit drivers as they are in compatibility mode.
