General Software Discussion / Re: What's your preferred File Manager

I bought a lifetime XYPlorer license and used that for a couple of years there. That fell off a bit but ever since dual pane was introduced it's a mainstay (except at work where we can't use anything but Explorer).

Living Room / Re: Tipping - Why does this appear to be a "requirement"?
« on: September 15, 2010, 10:00 PM »
Renegade, if everytime you go out you are getting bad service and paying $15 a drink then you are clearly going to the wrong places.

Also being from Australia, I find the idea of mandatory tipping strange. I'll often round up so I don't get a pocket full of change but that is out of convenience and at my discretion. Feeling an obligation to supplement someone else's wage would make me feel uncomfortable.

General Review Discussion / Dated reviews
« on: September 15, 2010, 04:31 AM »
It may be time to cull the reviews as some are badly dated. For example I went to check out what the good folks here thought was the best image manager. I was wondering why ACDSee got the nod then I saw the review was from 2005! That is old to the point of being misleading. Time to update or archive.
