Hi Tranglos,

OOps! (should have previewed it first - stoopid!)

The "All Clips" view show that there are short clips

The "Short" view doesn't show any clips

Here's the "Short" view filter

Hi Tranglos. Regarding the "Short" view on my 64-bit computer: I tried your suggestions but still got the same result (short clips aren't displayed on the Short tab). Relevant screenshots are shown below.

Thanks for adding the "Close to system tray" feature to the wish list

Great app - it's filled a long-standing need I have for a clipboard extender that doesn't screw up my development environment. I'm running it under Win7, both 32- & 64-bit. I think I've found a problem under 64-bit: the "Short" tab doesn't display any clips, no matter how short. As an experiment, I changed the filter to use "nrGreaterThanOrEqual" instead of "nrLessThanOrEqual", and then all clips were shown, even the very short ones! I haven't used it a lot under 64-bit, so there may be other funnies I haven't come across

I would like to second Tomos' request for an option to minimize to the tray when I hit the Close box - I know I can just click outside the window or hit the Minimize button, but I just can't get out of the habit of hitting Close when I've finished looking at the clips!

N.A.N.Y. 2011 / Auspex - clipboard problem
« on: January 11, 2011, 07:23 AM »
Lovely little app, I used it for half an hour and was looking forward to adding it to my "always on" utilities. However...I do a lot of my coding in VB6 (yeah, I know, but its what the punters want!) and, like all of the other clipboard managers, the VB IDE screws up when it's loading if Auspex is running. This is because VB and/or some VB add-ins seem to set up the icons on their toolbar buttons by copying them to and from the clipboard, and if there is a clipboard manager running, an error is generated and toolbars can go missing.

Is there any chance of making the clipboard function optional?

A few other things I noticed:
- I couldn't get the splash screen not to display (the setting doesn't have any effect)
- I couldn't get it to start with Windows, again irrespective of the relevant setting
- The auto-complete popup box always displayed as black text on a yellow background, again regardless of the settings

I really would like to use this utility, but the VB problem means I can't.
