N.A.N.Y. 2019 / NANY 2019 idea for an app: display Outlook invitations

Hi there,
on Android, there is an app which enables you to read (and deal with) the Outlook invitation you may receive (.ics files) This app is named Invitation processor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHjmOs3fMx0 .
How come that it is not possible to have the same little piece of software on Windows for at least displaying a given invitation (be it .ics or .ical) in plain and clear language?
For non Outlook users, such as all those using The Bat, it is a nightmare.
The syntax of the invitation is seen there http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2445.html
It should be a standalone little app, on which you just drop an .ics attachment...
Just my 2 eurocents..
