It would be nice if someone could make a program that shows the battery life of connected Bluetooth devices like how https://github.com/M...oothLEBatteryMonitor does so (but made in Delphi/C++ and able to show the battery life of Bluetooth devices along with Bluetooth Low Energy devices).

2
It would be nice if someone made a program that has a list of output audio devices that were recently used by the OS and let the user select one to use as default when it is connected until it is disconnected, which then will have it use the previous used one as default, then repeat that process when the selected one is connected again.

3
It would be nice if someone made a program that does the same thing as https://github.com/g.../src/lib/str.c#L4078. I am wanting it made so I can see if a test it is doing is failing when ran under ReactOS.

General Software Discussion / Tardsplaya 2.0.01
« on: June 03, 2022, 09:48 PM »
It is a heavily modified version of Tardsplaya that now works for showing Twitch.tv streams via MPC-HC, etc. by using its GQL API for getting the resolutions offered by a member's stream. It also has unnecessary UI elements removed, ability to play multiple streams via tabs added, optional logging added, and some ease-of-use features added to it. This version fixes the menu entries that are in the Context Menu of its window.

Source Code: https://github.com/Zero3K/Tardsplaya
Download URL: Download URL: https://github.com/Z...ardsplaya-2.0.01.zip
Size: 1552 KB

Instructions on how to use it:

1. Click Tools, Settings.
2. Change the Player Path to the location where the media player that supports stdin (such as MPC-HC, MPC-BE, VLC) is installed to.
3. Enter the Channel that you want to view, and press Enter (or click Load).
4. Double click the Quality (or click it and then click Watch) that you want to view it in.
5. If you want to view more than one stream at a time, you can do so by pressing Ctrl+N or clicking File, New Stream and repeating #3 and #4 in the new tab that was made.

It would be nice if someone could fix and improve a set of PS1 and PS2 emulators. Their source code is available at https://github.com/Zero3K/hpsx64.

General Software Discussion / Remote
« on: October 27, 2020, 08:21 AM »
Remote is a program that allows the controlling of multiple computers via one keyboard and mouse. If anyone has any ideas regarding a better name for it, please reply to https://github.com/m...gout/Remote/issues/5.

To use it to control a PC/Laptop from another PC/Laptop, do the following:

1. Choose Server in its dialog box while running it on the PC/Laptop that you're wanting to use to control the other one.
2. Click Start.
3. On the other one, choose Client in its dialog box.
4. Enter in the IP address that is displayed in the dialog box of the one being used as the Server.
5. Click Connect.
6. To control the PC/Laptop that has it running in Client mode from the one being ran in Server mode, move the mouse to the upper right portion of its screen. It should then send the mouse movements to the Client.
7. To regain control of the one being used as Server, move the mouse of the one being used as Client to the upper left portion of its screen.

General Software Discussion / vs5x - Video Chat
« on: July 27, 2020, 10:01 AM »
The developer of Brynhildr has started work on a new Video Chat program called vs5x. Its first version was made the 2nd of this month and it now has a new version that has screen sharing added to it. Post New Requests Here / Fixing a Named Pipe to TCP Proxy program
« on: January 29, 2020, 04:47 PM »
It would be nice if someone could get the Named Pipe to TCP Proxy programs in the attached archive to work when using them to listen to and transmit a VM's Named Pipe (such as the one provided by VirtualBox). Also, it would be nice if it could have a GUI (or at least not rely on conhost.exe when being ran) and have the ability to use command line parameters for choosing which named pipe to listen for/create and what port to forward it to.

Post New Requests Here / [REQ] Getting some programs to compile
« on: November 18, 2019, 09:37 AM »
It would be nice if someone could get https://gist.github....3064ab47258af119a41b and/or https://github.com/DpEpsilon/COrg to compile for Windows 7, etc. and offered a link to the executable that is generated.

10
It would be nice if someone could make a Pale Moon compatible add-on that does what the add-on available at https://github.com/e...Firefox_WebExtension does.

11
It would be nice if someone could make one that fills a file (in the root directory) with the word Dummy and deletes it then repeats the process until it is closed.

12
I am looking for someone to fix TardsPlaya. It is a program written in Delphi that buffers Twitch Streams and sends them to external media players (such as MPC-BE). Right now it isn't compatible with the new URL format used by the streams and it also doesn't skip the parts of the stream that contain advertisement. Its source code is available at https://github.com/Zero3K/tardsplaya.

1. I managed to fix its BSODs thanks to a member of community.osr.com but now after removing the 4 GB limit it has in place and using a 6 GB drive, I get BSODs when trying to copy files 2 GB or greater in size to it. One of the BSODs I get is one that mentions it trying to access memory that was set to be read-only. The source code and instructions for compiling it are available at https://github.com/Zero3K/ERAM/ and the Pull Request containing the modifications I did to remove the limit (along with a link to an analysis of the BSOD I mentioned) can be found at https://github.com/Zero3K/ERAM/pull/10.

2. Regarding its CPL (which is used to configure it), I tried to compile it using Visual Studio 2017 Community but have ran into some "unresolved external symbols" errors which you can see by going to https://pastebin.com/HCv1WW3M.

3. I compiled the CPL using WDK 7.1.0 and isn't working in Windows Server 2003, etc (It shows up in the list of Control Panel Applets but nothing happens when double-clicked on).

How do I fix one or more of those issues?

It charges my Acer Iconia One 8, etc. a lot faster than the previous charger I was using (which was an ARCHEER 17W 3.4A Dual USB Port Wall Charger Adapter for Smartphones and Tablets, Black, 1 Pack). So, I highly recommend using it to charge Android Tablets, etc. You can find more info about it and buy it by going to https://www.amazon.c.../product/B01L8DVOFM/.

Non-Windows Software / Project Mayhem for Windows
« on: March 12, 2015, 11:43 AM »
I need help compiling it. I've tried compiling it under Ubuntu 10.04, Angstrom Linux, and various compilers on my PC (which is running Windows 7). None of them produced all of the binaries that they should've. Its source code is available at https://github.com/g...desco/project-mayhem. Thanks in advance to anyone that is able to get it compiled and provides the outputted files.

Here's the description of it from its listing on Softpedia:

O'Print is a handy and reliable application designed to deliver a simple method from printing files from an iPad or an iPhone device. It manages to do so by activating the AirPrint feature for all of your installed printers. In addition, you can also password protect each printer for an enhanced level of security.

(BTW, it can also print from devices running MAC OS X)
