LaunchBar Commander / LBC changes ClockRes
« on: December 19, 2014, 06:14 PM »
I was reading a article about apps that change the clock-res and it hurting battery life on laptops and the sysinternals guy has a clockres checker.  I ran it and mine was changed.  I realized that starting / stopping LBC changes clockres.  Neccessary?

LaunchBar Commander / Error building treeicons
« on: August 20, 2014, 04:17 PM »
This happened twice - both times I had dragged a link to a file over.
link for one was: %envvar%:\Documents\entries.txt
link for other was: file:///E:/Files/Internet/Setup-Current.html

Once that happens, I can't save tree, and I have tree set to auto-save, so everytime I try to exit I get second error message.

BrowserTraySwitch / Does BrowserTraySwitch work on Win 8.1 x64?
« on: July 22, 2014, 09:40 PM »
I'm not having luck.  It makes the .btsregfile files, but picking a different browser using the tray icon doesn't seem to do anything.

Clipboard Help+Spell / add filter row like ditto or ethervane
« on: July 22, 2014, 09:34 PM »
For me, CHS, even with all the great features, just isn't usable -- without a filter row on the popup. This allows me to quickly select from previous clips that match the filter.

There's a lot of programs (photo viewers, folder size calculators, ...) that take a folder path as their argument.

Screenshot Captor / screenshotcaptor and delay option
« on: December 04, 2013, 08:19 AM »
I thought the 'delay' option would be good to capture an app's window and show the menu dropdown.  But after pressing ctrl-prtscrn, SSC begins 4 sec countdown, I go and drop down the app's menu, SSC wakes up and captures app window but menu isn't included.  Is there an option I missed?

Another thing that seems backward to me:  if I use 'delay' and capture-region, it waits 4 sec and then I specify region.  I would have thought I would specify region, then the 4 sec countdown would start

Clipboard Help+Spell / Text capture limits
« on: July 24, 2013, 08:55 AM »
On CHS options, capture options, there is the section (upper right) labeled "Text Capture Limits".  For me, the 3 checkboxes are disabled.  The input boxes are live, though I can't put a number > 9999 in for plain text, but I can put in anything for Richtext.  I was copying a plain text web page and CHS doesn't put the text into quick-paste menu.  If I select half the page and copy, it does.  So seems to be a limit issue.

Clipboard Help+Spell / Capture from ZIM Desktop Wiki fails
« on: April 16, 2013, 09:39 AM »
I'm using ZIM (http://zim-wiki.org/) a python-based notebook.  Using Ctrl-C or "right-click copy" in ZIM will copy string to Windows clipboard, but not to CHS.  I have tried 're-establish chain' and verify database. I turned on capture-sound and sure enough no sound on ctrl-C in ZIM.  CHS works fine every where else.

Any ideas appreciated.
