General Software Discussion / Gmail SENT MAIL Confusion

About a year ago I began to have problems with my Gmail and to this day they remain unresolved. (ASUS desktop with Windows 8.1)
Specifically, when I send a Gmail, I used to see the email in SentMail, but now I get a message that says something abut a trashed conversation and it doesn't automatically go to SentMail.

I have a desktop ASUS, Windows 8.1 and want to build a home page with my favorite links. Is anyone aware of software that would help me with building the favorite links or maybe a HTML template?

I have an ASUS desktop with Windows 8.1 and I use Gmail. Because I could never get my computer to recognize Gmail as my mailer, as this is essential with programs like Nuance's Dragon and  Copernic Desktop Search, I just   purchased Fooke's Aid4Mail in hopes this would clear up the problem.  No such luck. Is there something special I have to do to get the OS to recognize Gmail as my mail system?
