Screenshot Captor / SSC auto delete files ...?
« on: April 20, 2012, 10:53 AM »
Good day,

Today i made some screenshots and saved them, at the bottom of the screen, after 'Name' as .jpg-files.

By accident i checked my Windows-bin and saw that all the .png files are 'automatically' deleted.
(I -automatically- save all my scrrenshotcaptor-screenshots first in .png)
I'm very sure that i did not delete those files.
In the past i never had this.

Am i doing somewhere something wrong?

Greetings, hippodrome

Screenshot Captor / Some help needed with ScreenShotCaptor
« on: February 07, 2012, 06:58 AM »
Good day (Mouser),
I just upgraded to the newest version of SSC. Thanks for updating.

A few questions: where can i find ...

[MajorFeature] Super deluxe scrolling capture system
and
[MajorFeature] Easy watermarking menu and options

I've be looking everywhere but have not found it. (Maybe i need to buy a new pair of glasses  :-\).

And:
A time ago i succeeded in making scrolling-captures, e.g. of a longer than the screen document.

The last time, i never succeed in making new scroll-captures.
I've been looking a the tutorial but still i couldn't make them.

I do Ctrl-Shift-PrtScr .. but nothing happens.
Sometimes i see the red border coming up, but what i do (click, click-right etc.) nothing happens.

Will you pls be so kind to explain it to me?

Thanks and greetings for Hippodrome

Screenshot Captor / Great Scanner funtions in ScreenShotCaptor
« on: February 27, 2011, 09:20 AM »
Good day Everbody,

Some years ago i bought a multifunctional from Canon (MP600R) with Omnipage-scan-software that was already included (with basic standard-scan-options). When i installed Windows-7 over Vista that scanning-function didn't work anymore with Windows7. New license will cost me more than 100 Euro, i heard from the guys of Scan Soft Omnipage. Well, than i decided to buy a new multinfunctional. Shortly before i went to the shop, i discovered (saved by the bell!) that in ScreenShotCaptor is also a scan utility available. Well, i thought that than the functions/buttons from my Canon-machine will stop or decrease, (and that i have to scan always via the SSC-program) but since i configured SSC for scanning, i can also use the scanning-buttons on my MP600R!. Just like it was before. Nothing changed?!! That's really GREAT! That saved me a lot of money buying new hardware (or either software).

So if you're looking for a nice scan utility, with extra options to modify the scanned item, just choose this Scanner in ScreenShotCaptor.
You can find it under : Edit > Preferences > Scanner Options.

Have Fun with the software.
Greetings,
Hippodrome.

Screenshot Captor / Changing inches to centimeters
« on: February 13, 2011, 10:54 AM »
Good day Mouser,

Frequently i use SSC for making Screenshots .

But when i do 'File > Print Screenshot' i always see the measuring in Inches, than i change it to centimeters (we use that over here in Holland) but next time it's again inches).

Is there a possibility to adjust this setting to CM's permanently? And maybe also to fix the settings on this small screen?

Thanks for help and many greeting.
