Hello, i need some suggestion in this post.
I want to download updates for Win7(32bit) for offline installation.
It really doesn't bother me if i do not update; i am not big on it.
But i kind a searched and found a tool that does that.
The tool is called WSUS Offline Update 11.1.1
The site:
http://download.wsusoffline.net/
Last time i did was the first time i updated and it also downloaded an update that significantly improved the display in the screen.
In small ways.Instead of backing up and doing all those thing, i thought why not download Updates that is installable in offline mode.
But i am having problem with this, it doesn't go beyond this error.
Error with WSUS Offline Update 11.1.1.jpg
So can anyone who has done some kind of Update know about this problem.
You could download this tool and try it for yourself.
Other tools that could do offline Update: https://www.raymond....line-windows-update/
Hope you understood it.

Hello folks, i was wondering if i could send messages to a person who lives 5 km away from me having different IP address.
I know i can send mails, but i want to send messages to someone, and a notification popping up reminding them of an incoming messages.
Is there any software that can do that, i know Skype but the credits needs to be paid. So is there any software that can do that, or a simple
commandline trick that does it.

Awaiting reply.

Hello Friends,
recently i had installed some programs, which i don't recall now.
But after removing i have getting this errors.
WSH.png
I tried searching this for a fix, and nowhere i can get a valid answer. I went through a number of sites. Here. But it didn't fix my problem. It's really buggin sometimes.
Does anyone know of a better solution for this. I don't want to restore my pc just for a single cause.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings
Double Click on it and give it Value Data 1 to enable it.

A value of 1 will enable Windows Script Host
A value of 0 will disable Windows Script Host.

I tried this method but it doesn't work. I am on Win7.x32bit version.

General Software Discussion / Configure Host file!
« on: March 01, 2016, 09:01 AM »
Hello folks,
i just came to know host file maps the hostnames to IP addresses.
Which also means a users can stop ones pc from connecting to any website. This can come in handy to those who uses application from connecting to its mother site. Hope my english is good.
This way, i could block some programs from connecting to there website.

input these prefix in host file.
127.0.0.1 www.mediaplayer.com

I have some application which always tries to connect to the website. I have one in particular called Total Uninstall 6.
I tried the entry: 127.0.0.1 www.martau.com
But it still connects to the website and pops up as unregistered.
What i want to know is ! How do i know this program is trying to connect to a particular website. Is there a tool that can do that, i already have 2 firewall for this kind of job, but they fail sometime due to hard PC restart and all i have is host file.
Which can do the job 100%.

Awaiting some reply. Any suggestion.

Hello folks,
i am trying to install Winxp on a laptop which has Pentium4 processor and it is a Dell Laptop, it has Seagate ST9408114A  HDD, so far i have tried winxp , WIn7 and Clonezilla and BartePE , but it all failed to recognise the HDD, so i am beginning to realize if the HDD is corrupted i can't use HirenBoot CD or can i check the for bad sector : so what possibly could be the problem .
One thing could be that it is a SATA Disc but then again it has a Pentium 4 Processor and i think it is a ATA HDD, so what could be the problem, i could download the SATA Controller and integrate to make the Winxp Setup disc to recognise it.
So what possibly could be the problem,,,,any direction would be great,      :o :o :o :o

« on: March 09, 2012, 10:57 AM »
Hello folks,
i am looking for a super lite or light version of C++ program , ie., where it does the actual coding, not the huge MS Visual Basic 2008 or 2010, i remember using it from a floppy: where we used to write the acyual code's. Now i have forgotten about that program name, hope someone can direct me somewhere .

Any free version would work:
Thank you:

At one time i had formatted my pendrive from the command prompt with this switches

Hello,
i searched through many sites regarding Standby and Hibernate functions in XP: Both the functions are for saving power, but the difference being the STANDBY can remain in that state for a shorter time, i mean real short time, if i leave my PC for 5 Mins and turn the power on, it simply wont boot to desktop, unlike HIBERNATE it writes all the data that is open , even if i leave the PC for 1 hr the HIBERNATE functions seems to work well. It would restore to desktop, but Standby boots to desktop really quickly.
Both the functions having its plus and minuses : but is their any way i would make Standby mode to work after i leave my PC for 3 or 4 hours. I have enabled the Power Management from the BIOS, and checked all the settings from the POWER option in ie., Right Click properties/ScreenSaver/Power/ etc etc.....

Any suggestions would be great.
