UrlSnooper / Total noob needs help with Newsmax

Yes, I am an idiot but I have a good heart.Please be nice. I have a deaf friend who has asked me to caption some video for him. I usually capture the video off YouTube but his latest requests involve Newsmax.
I installed URL snooper, and methodically clicked "play the URL on this computer" for each result. None of them opened up a video.
http://video.newsmax.com/ is their home page. I tried several of the videos there, but their page doesn't even seem to work right.
Plus we're having a thunderstorm and the router power keeps going out.
I know my power issues will eventually solve themselves, but any help as far as downloading a Newsmax video would be most appreciated.
