Thanks for the great review, Ken. For those who don't already have the program, be aware that it is available for "free" through TrialPay.

I am just learning the program as a replacement for the dying Powermarks, which I have used for years and love. As for synchronization, luc, this is an issue for me. Powermarks provides their own server and NetSync feature, which you can use to synchronize your bookmarks between PCs. I am missing this.

wales, there is a "Launch URLs" setting that lets you set your default browser.

I have been using MySpeed PC Advanced from Visualware for some time, and have found it to be invaluable. The two products integrate nicely, so I'm looking forward to upgrading my Lite version.

Great thread, guys. It's going to take me some time to digest it all, but....

I'd just like to add my voice to those who mentioned Find and Run Robot. Wow! I also find myself using desktop, start menu, and other access methods less and less now that I have F&RR. Great job, Mouser!

Best Dialog Extender / Direct Folders Title Bar Buttons

Hi, everyone.

Does anyone know if there's a way to change the position of Direct Folder's buttons on the title bar? They're interfering with additional buttons in some of the applications I use.

I had the same problem with FileBox Xtender, but it was very easy to move them to the left a little bit so they're out of the way, and that program works beautifully now. But not Direct Folders.

Which version of Office are you using? I'm also having trouble getting it to work, with 2003.
