General Software Discussion / Re: Montage Videos

I’ve tried a lot for that very same task and, in my opinion, the three free ones that are, at the same time easy to use are:
-VideoPad: Easiest, but kind of “nagware”.
-Olive Video Editor: Still in beta, but works well and the learning curve is not too steep. Lots of good tutorials in the web.
-Tool Rocket Vid Clipper: The one I’m using at the moment. Good quality, not too heavy results.

I've tried Bookdb2. Not fantastic, but not bad. The best thing I know, if you don't mind web-based is LibraryThing

General Software Discussion / Re: finding an old password program ...

This is what I do. Surely it's nonsense, but I can't find the flaw. Maybe because I don't know much. I have a file in my PC with just a link to a file in a USB that I carry in my purse which, in turn, has only a link to another file in my PC. I figure that way in case my PC were hacked, nothing would happen since they have not the USB. And in case my purse were stolen, it would do no good, either. When I'm sitting at the PC I always have the USB connected, so it's no problem. Of course this would be burdensome to do for every page but with those that are important I think it's worth the trouble. Of course I'm not as knowledgeable as most people here and I'd be grateful if someone pointed out where the catch is

Not sure this is what you mean. Surely it's not, but...Opening details panel? I'd upload the screencapture I've just made of mine, if I knew how. Unfortunately, I don't. What I did was: Create 2 files within the drive: 1. Autorun.inf with this text: '[autorun] ICON=Drive.ico' 2. An icon (like the letter C in your image) with the name Drive.ico. 2. Set both's attibutes to 'hidden' That's all. Next time you open the details pane, the letter C will show in the details panel. I'm sorry if this is not what you were asking
