Screenshot Captor / Re: Capture of Second Screen is Messed up
« on: January 23, 2021, 07:41 PM »
I altered it to "Active Window" and that is correct for both screens.  Thank you for your suggestion.  It's not ideal as I would like to screenshot the whole second screen including the taskbar rather than just the window.

Screen (Current Monitor) still doesn't work.  This is the one I want to use.

On my second screen, all screenshots are shifted to the right.  This screenshot is the correct height but 30% of the screen is missing replaced by a white blank portion at the right. I think the missing chunk and the added space are the same sizes.

For complete workspace screenshots, it needs to have blank space added below the second screen because the main screen is bigger.  The black blank space at the bottom of the second screen part of this is 100% essential because the main screen is 1440 resolution whereas the second screen is 1080.  However, the large white blank space at the right of complete workplace screenshot doesn't seem correct.

Hard to describe in words.  Sorry, you need to display all 3 pics to get a better idea.

Thanks for looking.

Main screen resolution 2560 x 1440, uses 150% W10 Display Scale and Layout.
Second screen resolution 1920 x 1080, uses 125% W10 Display Scale and Layout.

Screenshots of my Second screen are still borked.  Is it caused by the screens having different resolution?

2 weeks ago I asked for a SC License key.  No reply.  So I sent another one today.

I got the "We have received your request for a permanent free license key" from Donation Coder.

Thanks for looking.

Thank you.  I can edit the CAMERA.WAV file to change its volume.  Most helpful.

Thanks for your replies.  I will save a copy of the in file and transfer it back into the installed directory when I need it, next time.

Captures of the second screen and the complete workplace are messed up.
Main screen captures are perfect.
Main screen resolution - 2560 x 1440
Second screen resolution - 1920 x 1080
Gigabyte GeForce GTX1650 2GB Graphics card.

Thanks for looking.

Sorry about 3 complaints as my introduction to this forum.  A lot of work went into it and its many options are awesome.  As an Autistic person, I only comment make an excellent utility even better.

Edit - Clarified Title and added acknowledgement of the author's effort.

Can you add and Import/Export option for settings?
Every few months I have to reinstall ScreenShot Captor from scratch (my system is cursed).  Which means manually changing a dozen settings to my preferences.
If this was stored on disk it would make the new setup much easier.

How can I change the volume of the Camera Click sound that is used in ScreenShot Capture?  It is hard to adjust the volume of every other program just to fit in with your Camera Click sound.  My master volume is set to 40% but sometimes accidentally gets bumped up to 100%.  This makes ScreenShot Captors capture sound extremely loud.
To be able to pick between normal volume, half or double volume would be a great start.   Perhaps you could offer Sound1, Sound2 and Sound3 in the setup folder.  And ask the user to edit the name of one of these to SoundUsedonCapture before I install your program.  This way if I wanted 10% volume I could easily edit Sound1 if I wanted extra quiet sound.

Other programs running at the same time are -
Discord, Pot Player, downloaded You Tube clips, YouTube in my browser, movies, full screen games, and others.
Thanks for looking.
