General Software Discussion / Re: Batch photo filter software?
« on: February 09, 2010, 10:14 PM »
You might try ThePluginSite. Here's a link to much of the Free stuff, but it's a big site  covering most everything "Plug-in".

< http://thepluginsite...reeplugins/index.htm >. And it's a CLEAN site.

PhotoFiltre Studio handles .8bf filters, but  the Free version "PhotoFiltre" does not..
Photo Brush by Mediachance.com also handles all .8bf filters.

Sorry for the long delay. Yes, I do have the latest JRE  installed..

Wish I could be among those above who are enjoying this program. I've tried about 5 times to install it and although it goes through all of the normal routines, when the installation is finished and I've left the Run Program checked , there is a fraction of a second Logo appearing and then a loud thump and nothing.
Both the Download file and the Shotcut icon are present on my desktop but NO JOY  with the manual activation either. Same flash Logo and Sound.

I've tried it without Comodo running as well.  System is cleam (Windows XP Pro, 2 Gigs ram, 130 Gigs free space,. Everything appears normal but won't open. ANY IDEAS
Thanks.   snapshooter87.

I've been using PhotoBrush and PhotoFiltre for over 3 years and found them to be the best for 98% of my work. I have PSP X and X1 as well as PhotoShop in various versions, but find them too bloated and slow for all but the occasional feature that is usefull.
One of the really handy features of PhotoBrush is it's compatability with PS filters(.8bf)  and it's ability to scan your system and automatically install them in PhotoBrush, or just download filters from the various sites to a dedicated Plug-ins folder where PhotoBrush then locates and installs in seconds.
And where would you ever find another Oscar who will personally answer an email when you need some information on specific tools.
Take the time to visit the site and see for yourself
