Hell yeah! Keep it up, we have not forgotten you.
I use FARR daily and to date haven't found anything that even reaches its toes even remotely

Hello everyone and happy new year!  ;D
I've been using FARR for quite a few years now but only recently have I bumped into this problem. I use all my applications set up as a portable environment so I always use relative paths whenever possible, and I have recently switched my portable file manager, so I was trying to adjust the FARR option "Override default file explorer" to point to my new file browser (XYplorer if it matters).

Thing is I was trying to open it with a few custom command line switches or parameters as you may call them but they only seem to work if I point to the EXE with a full absolute path (say "C:/path/to/my/XYplorer.exe") if I use a relative path no command line parameters, or path for that matter, seem to be passed. The XYplorer window is focused but nothing else happens, no new tabs or navigation to the desired location.
I am led to believe it is a FARR problem because if I use the same "Override default file explorer" with a relative path but nothing else after the ".exe" path it will work fine, and the same command line parameters with an absolute path work fine as well, so is this a known limitation of the current system, a bug, a problem with XYplorer, or am I simply doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

Find And Run Robot / Re: Customization of FARR icons

This would indeed be a very very welcome addition, I second that.

In fact my only real gripe with FARR throughout my years with it has been about the appearance and 'skinability' of the application. I wish it was easier to customize the general appearance/themes and icon style of FARR, especially to make it match the OS style.
I plan on upgrading to Windows 10 soon-ish and would love nothing more than to revamp FARR's UI to integrate it better (you know, the usual, more flat colors, monochrome icons, minimal appearance) etc, so big thumbsup from me

From what's already been mentioned here, custom file associations with relative paths for portable apps seems the one I like the most.
Indexing seems to be a must from the shear number of requests, also python plugins seems a huge plus, totally worth the small file size increase. I don't think that is still a concern nowadays, when multi-gigabyte pendrive is cheaper then a meal. 8)

I also definitely would like to see a simpler skinning or theme system, like allow using simple PNG images for the window appearance, similar to what launchy does, I think. I would like to see some simpler, more elegant, minimal themes and the ability to easily create beautiful new skins.
