Find And Run Robot / Re: New Version
« on: March 28, 2005, 07:26 AM »
Hi Mouser, I think I found 1 typo and 1 minor bug in version 1.05.09 :

In the Options screen, at the bottom of the Configuration tab it says "Blank search shows file from launch" I think "launch" should be "launch history", am I correct?
In the Options screen, on the Heuristic Scoring tab, the right-click menu should only contain "Edit this entry" I guess. Choosing "Add new entry" or "Remove entry" cause Find&Run to hang.

Hope that's helpful...

maybe there is value in letting you just hit the down key during search to both
stop the search and put the cursor in the results window, this would save from having to click escape and tab...

Well that's exactly what I meant, it's maybe not a big deal (using numeric keys to start programs works fine)
but I noticed it was my first reaction to use the down-cursor to select a program in the list.

Since the up/down cursor keys currently have no function during a search I think this might be nice to add...

Find And Run Robot / Feature Requests...

Hi there!

First, thank you, what a great little tool you have made!

I have one little feature request, i think it would make Find&Run just a little more intuitive...

After searching for a program it would be nice if one could scroll through the search results using the up/down cursor keys.

I called this topic Feature Requests so that maybe others can also use this topic to post their requests...

Thanx again!
