I am dreaming of PC without coolers and probably with CULV processors.

The most annoying thing when you write your code during night is the noise of CPU/GPU coolers.

For sure during 80-90 it was Pascal.
But IMHO Now the best language to start is Java.

If you do not want to publish your software under GNU license use other standard licenses.

There are many popular licenses like MIT or BSD:
