FARR Plugins and Aliases / Replacement plugin for Delicious bookmarks?
« on: December 17, 2010, 12:43 PM »
Hi Everybody,

It seems that the Delicious bookmarks service is going down today. http://thenextweb.com/lifehacks/2010/12/17/how-to-export-import-and-migrate-delicious-bookmarks/

One of the great things about FARR has been having the ability to access bookmarks through the Delicious bookmarks plugin. This great feature will be lost once Delicious goes down. Any chance there could be a new plugin developed for one of the alternative services such as Xmarks, historiou.us, or Diigo?

FARR Plugins and Aliases / CZB Pack - Timer plugin error
« on: July 13, 2010, 10:19 PM »
UPDATE: I fixed the error by deleting the variables related to Timer under Options\User Variables and reloaded the plugin. Timer is now functioning properly.

Whenever I load FARR, I get a bluebox that shows the error message "error occured while loading C:program files\FARR\Plugins\CZB_pack\Timer\fsubscript.js; message: Expected ']' name: SyntaxError

I tried replacing the Timer plugin files in my program files directory with the originals from CZB_pack rar file, but the error still occurred. Anyone experience this error before?

Find And Run Robot / Re: Exception Error (EAccessViolation)
« on: January 22, 2010, 09:38 PM »
I was getting the EAccessViolation error at one time too, but it was only while accessing the KlipKeeper plugin. The solution to that problem is discussed in https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=18622.msg166839#msg166839

Here is Mouser's solution to the problem and ecaradec's website for Fscript:

http://e.craft.free.fr/farr/FScript/

Hope this works for you.

The new fscript.dll works!!!

note to others who try it:
1. grab the latest fscript.dll from ecaradec's page (as of today it's fscript.1.17.dll)
2. rename it to fscript.dll
3. exit farr
4. replace any copies of fscript.dll in your farr plugins subdirectories with this new one.
(if you have multiple fscript-based plugins installed, there may be more than one copy of the dll! dont leave any files like fscript_bakup.dll or fscript.dllbackup in the directories or those dll's might get loaded)
5. restart farr

brilliant work emmanuel!

I am getting the following error message when I try to run FARR:

Find+Run Robot Encountered an exception error (EAccessViolation). Please report to [email protected]

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but I still get the same error. Any advice?

Thank you.

Find And Run Robot / Re: Return Focus to last program after FARR search
« on: September 23, 2009, 11:36 PM »
FARR does disappear after performing a search. I'm not exactly sure which program gains focus again after doing a search. On the taskbar, it seems that Firefox is activated, but if I use the keyboard to do anything (eg. Page Up, Page Down) nothing happens. I took a screen capture of my Alt-Tab menu after performing a google search and there is some unknown icon present in there. It's just a blank window with no name. It does go away after I select another program, but it consistently shows up every time I do a search with FARR. What ever it is, I'm sure that's what's stealing the focus away from Firefox. Not sure what it is though. I've enclosed a screen capture to show you what I'm talking about.

Find And Run Robot / Return Focus to last program after FARR search
« on: September 23, 2009, 03:48 PM »
I was just wondering if there's a way to return focus to the last program I was working with or to a specified program after using FARR. For example, after I do a google search or use the Delicious bookmarks plugin with FARR, a new tab is generated in Firefox, but I have to reactivate Firefox by using Alt-Tab or clicking in the window. It would be nice to forgo this step and just have focus immediately returned back to Firefox after performing the search with FARR. Any way this can be accomplished?
