===< Text Files Browser >===

TFB is a tiny Windows program that enables user to easily browse and delete text and other ASCII files.

To load a list of files into a program, click 'Load directory...' button and select a file, or simply drag a file from Explorer and drop on TFB window. If the extension of the file is not txt, the 'List all ASCII files' check box is automatically checked. Then TFB puts names of all txt or all ASCII files (depending on the state of the check box) from the directory of the selected file.

Loading files to the list might take a moment, because all files are checked to be valid ASCII files (even if only text files are loaded). (A file is considered valid ASCII file if all its bztes are non-zero.)

When you click a file on the list, the file content is loaded into the text area. ('Word wrap' check box controls whether long lines should be wrapped in the text area or not.) You can move the selection using up and down arrows (Enter also acts as down arrow). You can also select multiple files (using Ctrl and Shift) on the list. When you press Delete key, selected file or files are deleted from the list, and, if 'Delete from HD' is checked, also from the directory that you are browsing. The focus moves to the next file on the list. If the 'Confirm delete' check box is checked, you will be asked if you really want to delete the files each time you press Delete key.

The program might need some dll's and bpl's to run. You can try to download them here: http://etonne.110mb.com/files/libs.zip .
