Title: SOLVED: SFTP new file with HotFolder
Post by: carbodykits on March 02, 2011, 02:32 PM
Tried searching but couldn't find this:

1. Script monitors /HotFolder for new files.
2. If new file is found, copies file to new /Directory over SFTP

What do you think?

Only new?  Not modified?  Also, 'new' from the time the script is launched, right?

WinSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/index.php) can do it.

Yes, new. For example,

1. I take a picture with digital camera.
2. New Picture.jpg is added to /Directory1
3. Script monitors /Directory and SFTP transfers a copy to /Directory2 (I need SFTP into my IPAD).

I will look at WinSCP tonight. Thanks for the help!

Wonderful.   :)  I'll mark this one as solved.
