to be honest i've been feeling really miserable/bleak/desolate/dismal/hopeless lately.. i don't really want to get into it, just a bunch of things going wrong and can't see a good way out :( but truthfully i really don't want to talk about it.
what i should have said is that photo represents how i want to feel -- glimpsing a different, if uncertain, future.

I guess I forgot to wish for a happy year in late 2014, and I had this terrible one. I sincerely hope 2016 will be better for everyone, and certainly for the good fellas and gals in this lovely place.

saw a video lately of an Irish Christmas/Winter where they have a snowball fight with fistfulls of water scooped up from the pool size puddles on the paved paths (cant for the life of me find it again...)
