Looking for a pie chart generator script for use on a website, that allows for click handling events within each slice (for displaying more info). Any suggestions?
-
Dundas make excellent components, but they are commercial and not cheap. (ASP.NET) Are you looking for free or commercial? I don't know any good LAMP GPL scripts.
-
Well, not sure if my boss would be willing to pay, or how much, but LAMP is a must...PHP or JS or some such similar thing.
There is talk of possibly using Highcharts (http://www.highcharts.com/products/highcharts), so she might be willing to pay. I am basically trying to see if there is anything better to suggest to her.

I've used pChart before and been very happy with it (PHP).
http://pchart.sourceforge.net/
and
http://www.pchart.net/
One thing I don't remember though is if it supports clickable charts.

It does support image maps, so I offered it as a possible solution.

maybe flotcharts (http://www.flotcharts.org/flot/examples/series-pie/index.html)

There's also jFreeChart.

This one looks promising. My boss thought it looked decent.

There are various pie chart generator scripts available now a days like web chart (http://www.koolchart.com), highcharts, flotcharts, jfreecharts. It depends which type of chart you are comfortable working with or for what purpose you are using the particular type of chart.
