Depends on the formats you want to convert from and too to a certain extent.
For converting to MPEG format for burning to DVDs TMPGEnc XPress 4 (http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/te4xp.html) is excellent (though not free).

More than "probably", you can bet. They didn't even care to vary the prices: each and every one of the 31 listed programs (the one and only program, with many different names, I would guess) is €20.44

Well, it looks to me like the joke is on the spammer. He's got his one lame link that has no information and that no one will ever click. But in trying to do that, he's also got links to two legitimate programs that make what he's peddling irrelevant.

After further investigation, i found several very similar posts on other forums and removed the spammy response.
