Hello,
Can you make a program/software that can download all the albums photos from
www.photos.yahoo.com in full size.
Thankx.

I have a few photos in Yahoo Photos (and I won't be adding any more). How do you even see the full size image let alone download it? Clicking on an image just shows an image scaled to fit the webpage conveniently - it tells you the size of the original at the bottom but I can't see any way to actually get to the original file at all.

i'm not sure about downloading all the photos at once. but for individual photos, there's a download button..
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
then the download page.. a bit tedious if you're into heavy downloading.. :)
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Starnge I get a completely - and I mean completely different interface for Yahoo Photos - and it doesn't seem to matter which of my accounts I log in via ???

try this url, then: http://new.photos.yahoo.com/
yeah, BackupR is a good marketing plan.. but since i'm not from North America, it is of no use to me..

Nope - this is the entire page that I am getting (all images are clickable thumbnails):
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
I just blanked out the pictures.
If I go into one of the albums I get:
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
And finally if I open an image I get:
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
which shows the image size but there doesn't appear to be a way to display it at that size or to download it at that size.
Even requesting prints uses preset sizes, and the Edit menu has nothing useful.

there is a 'Download" button on the 3rd image that you posted. what happens if you click on that?

Anyone please suggest a simple way to download all the images at once
without the need of clicking on each thumbnail...

Can't see any way because the filenames Yahoo stores the images under seem to be random.
Each image is stored in this format (at least in the UK Yahoo Photos):
http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/<user id>/detail_hires?.dir=<folder code>&.dnm=<photo id>.jpg
where <user id> is you Yahoo login id, <folder code> is a name or numerical code for the folder with the images (you can see this by hovering over the download button for one of the images in the folder) and the hard bit is <photo_id> which seems to be a purely arbitrary file name used on the Yahoo servers.
Unless there is some sort of API for Yahoo photos I can't see how you can determine the <photo id> bit without looking at each photo.
You may be able to use a Macro application to automatically step through the photos in a folder and activate the download automatically.

i use Yahoo Photos to store images that i actually want to share, and therefore i'd prefer the persons that i'm sharing with take the time to look at them.. :)
of course, Yahoo should have given some concern to users with limited bandwidth but if enough people wanted it, maybe Yahoo would provide a solution..
