Title: 100,000 users!
Post by: Josh on December 15, 2007, 08:14 PM: I just wanted to send a congratulations to mouser. Since we dont have a landmarks type thread, I thought it appropriate to start this topic and congratulate mouser and the entire DC community on reaching 100000 registered members!

Seriously, since I noticed membership surpassing the 100,000 mark a couple of days ago, "Now we are 100,000" has been playing like a mantra in my head. *Perhaps* PPLandry, Armando, and Doublewitt will get the (admittedly forced) reference and will be able to hum along... Think Expo '67! Think 20 million! Just nod and smile...

The lurker-ratio is probably the same here as on other forums. I'd expect it to be lower, since the registration for DC is so darn simple, but I guess there's more to it than that.

still.. it's enjoyable to see a new person post every once in a while who has just been a quiet reader for a while and suddenly gets inspired. usually that happens when the newsletters go out..
