Just checked the download links from the main page:
http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/
And they seem not to be working.
Personally, I love them, and would hate to see them go. The alternative is to install a whole emulation layer (cygwin) and that's too heavy/too much trouble for me at least...

It looks like they've moved the downloads to the more standard SourceForge-style download page:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9328&package_id=9393&release_id=490307

Thanks for that, mwb1100!
Project does seem a bit dead though, haven't been updated for a while. But the tools work well enough :)

The move seems to have been made just a few days ago. Maybe some additional activity is ahead.
However, the programs are a pretty mature bunch of tools; I think that accounts for the lack of activity. As you say, the tools work well enough, so what's to do?

wouldnt cygwin work?

Cygwin is a whole emulation layer. You cannot put that in an USB drive (lots of space). It does offer some advantages, but not enough for me to justify its installation (and it is difficult to uninstall). unixtools + console2 is the way to go for me.

cygwin is... ick.

Ditto. GnuWin32 rocks...
Hmmm... I wouldn't exactly call 2 updates in as many months in 2007 and Vista testing "dead"
Check it out...

Hm, why have both gnuwin32 and unxutils instead of collaborating? That's a waste of resources. Nice to know about gnuwin32 though, seems pretty comprehensive
