Lifehacker strikes again with a good start: Top 10 Windows 7 Booster Apps (http://lifehacker.com/5388948/top-10-windows-7-booster-apps), which include:
- ninite (http://ninite.com/)
- VistaSwitcher (http://www.ntwind.com/software/vistaswitcher.html)
- Ultimate Windows Tweaker (http://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultimate-windows-tweaker-v2-a-tweak-ui-for-windows-7-vista)
- StandaloneStack (http://www.chrisnsoft.com/standalonestack/)
- Hulu Desktop Integration (http://huluwmc.teknowebworks.com/) (Hulu, really?)
- WinFox (http://www.compugeeksoftware.com/software/winfox.aspx)
- Gmail Notifier Plus (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Gmail-Notifier-Plus/1243868925/1)
- Windows 7 System Recovery Discs (http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/windows-7-system-repair-discs/)
- Logon Changer for Windows 7 (http://tweaks.com/software/tweakslogon/)
- CSMenu (http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-desktop-customization/5369-windows-7-classic-start-menu.html)
To make it easier, will ninite install all of these at once? And one commenter was right: Where the heck is CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/)!

On my "overrated to the max" list :)

Really? I love that it empties out histories and browser files and other trash all at the same time.

I dunno. I haven't seen anybody gushing all that much over CCleaner in any of the reviews I've read.
And classifying something as a "Top 10" add-on isn't the same thing as going out and hyping it. Personally, I've found CCleaner to be a handy little app to have - even if I don't take the afternoon off and go 'party' every time a new release comes out.
;D

I find CCleaner to be invaluable in regards to cleaning out all the temp files and directories in one click. Now having said that, that's all I use CCleaner for. I don't use its uninstaller, registry cleaner, or any of the other stuff.

That installer looks awesome! I don't know if I'll use it or not (so many of the programs I use are portable so I just copy the folders).
They got CCleaner into the list, by the way.
