mouser, since not everyone has this happen - it seems to be system-specific
i wonder if the problem is windows (7) themes..-mouser (September 05, 2011, 03:58 PM)
Tomos, that is an important clue.
So can i confirm -- with "windows 7 basic" you get a good capture, but with other themes you don't?-mouser (September 06, 2011, 07:01 AM)
The extra white space cannot be solved -- it has to do with the way notepad displays windows contents and never displays a partial line at the bottom.-mouser (September 06, 2011, 08:04 AM)
now that I think of it, there was white space below the last visible number - I think I reduced this for the first shot but not for the second.
One thing people could do to help me is see if scrolling capture works AFTER you go into your windows display settings and turn off Aero Glass theme (select something like Windows Basic theme). On W7-64 it's even more disturbing under Classic. The window just sits there flashing. Great if you want to induce an epileptic episode but otherwise...
(it's just a new exe, not a full setup).-mouser (October 05, 2011, 08:17 PM)
so, should we simply replace the exe in a current install?
Or does this work on it's own? OK it works on it's own I think:

Non Aero - notepad - loses the bottom line.
Actually, it's worse than I thought.Non Aero - notepad - loses the bottom line.
do you mean it loses the bottom line from every page, or it does a successful scrolling capture but fails to grab the very last line in the file?-mouser (October 07, 2011, 10:14 AM)
please don't say that it supports scrolling screen function- it doesn't. List it as a beta feature, or something - up front, before users jump thru all hoops to use it.
anyone willing to help test the new upcoming scrolling capture system, post on this threadI'd be happy to if I can. Things are a little hectic for me at the moment but how long could it take?-mouser (November 23, 2011, 08:12 PM)
Any news on the new scrolling feature?
