I have seen programs that indicate the filetype of a link's url by displaying a small icon after the link.
I would like a small icon (a star?) to appear next to any links on a page that are already present in my huge bookmarks list.
I have an extension that detects duplicates and pops up a dialog if it I try to add a link that is already present, but it would be nice to know i already have it just by looking instead of finding out after taking the time to try and bookmark it.

linkclues seems something like Link Alert (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3199).. anyway i was curious about the duplicate bookmark detector but it's okay, i've found the link (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1553)..

This would be a cool Firefox extension. When I get around to making my first one, I'll probably do this. I've bookmarked this thread.

after going through 23 pages of the bookmarks category at addons.mozilla.org, i can say that this is a concept for a new extension..
