I'm surprised that IZarc isn't mentioned. It's the only one I use and I'd rather fight than switch.
Install, select all extensions, set it to extract to C:\All downloads and you have a new folder with the extracted files in All downloads. Use "Move To" in the menu bar in Win Explorer to put the whole kaboodle where you want it.
Go to lunch?

Anyone looking for trouble?
I found some!
Polar Help Desk freeware..........
http://www.polarsoftware.com/download/asp/downloadTrial.asp?intProdID=1929
There's a freeware version there which I have downloaded and installed on XPPro64 and XPPro32. I have IIS installed on both machines and the setup for Polar declares a successful install.
I can't get it to work on either machine!
Up front........ I have absolutely no need for a help desk. I ran across the software by accident and was curious to know if it could be adapted to categorize and index tips and tweaks.
If anyone is interested in playing with it I would be happy as hell to learn how to make it work.
It may be worthless for what I was trying to do but gravity wasn't a high value item either until somebody figured out how it worked!

General Software Discussion / Re: Reliable web page capture...

How about mirroring the entire site and then picking out the page/pages you want?

"HTTrack is a free (GPL, libre/free software) and easy-to-use offline browser utility.

It allows you to download a World Wide Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the "mirrored" website in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.

WinHTTrack is the Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP release of HTTrack, and WebHTTrack the Linux/Unix/BSD release. See the download page. "

Apparently you have the problem solved but I ran across DBXConv.exe recently and you might want to rathole the tool for possible use in the future.

The app converts OE dbx files to eml or mbx (Outlook) files which can be opened in a text editor. It's a freebie, command line tool so the price is right and it works!
