Sure, what I've used is a tiny freeware application called Rumshot.
Program: Download from Fileforum (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Rumshot/1159364066/1)
Theme pack: Download from Shellscape (http://www.shellscape.org/rumshot/themes.htm)
I think the project is abandoned by now, but it works just fine in both XP and Vista so it doesn't really matter. It even got a built-in "take screenshot and upload to FTP" function which is nice :)-Dirhael (September 19, 2007, 05:19 PM)

If windows identifies your system as having 2 monitors, the taskbar should only be on the first mon and all windows would appear centered on the first monitor.-jgpaiva (September 30, 2007, 08:51 AM)
I use Dialog Move and is happy with it. No need to be a shame :up: - the only problem I have found is that some info windows which really shouldn't move, also are moving.I'm glad you like it, curt!-Curt (October 01, 2007, 01:55 PM)
Here's a solution:
<shaaaaameless plug>
Use DialogMove (https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=3097.0), which moves the new dialogs that come up to your mouse position ;)
</shameless plug>-jgpaiva (October 01, 2007, 01:47 PM)
What I don't get is why a shameless plug for DialogMove, and not for GridMove.EhEh... You're right, a shameless plug for gridmove would also be suitable :)-steeladept (October 01, 2007, 03:37 PM)

I see, tekzel!
What i don't understand, tekzel, is what are the advantages of using the "span" mode.-jgpaiva (October 01, 2007, 01:47 PM)
If you want a big wall paper why not get a picture sized for span mode and then crop it into two pieces and put half on each monitor in dual mode?-Carol Haynes (October 01, 2007, 07:23 PM)
Now that can't be beyond the wit of man! Why don't you put a request in the coding snack section and see if you get any takers?
Or even try a google search (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Dual+monitor+wallpaper+utility&btnG=Search&meta=) - on the first page found these two utilities that may do the trick:

Why is it, Ralf, that you insist on playing Eve to my Adam? My wife, whose alter-ego in this little analogy I'll leave to your imagination, will go ballisitic and cast me from the family home if I go out and buy a secondary (Note: not a tertiary or quaternary, but a lowly SECONDARY) monitor.
