ive been using weatherpulse, pretty remarkable and free.
i also have weather watcher installed, also free.

I used something called weather bug a while back. I think that was its name. Lots of spyware and blatant advertising in it, so I got rid of it. I've been wary of them since then. Besides, walking outside in flip flops and shorts when it's about 40 degrees is lots of fun. Why spoil the surprise?

I use Weather Watcher.

tenseiken, lol ;D

I need one but didn't know what to use after the Weather Bug mess I had!!

Just installed Weather Pulse...Very nice

I too have been using weather pulse for about a week now on my laptop, slick program, better than the other 5 i tried.
Not to mention the updates have been fast & furious since I installed it. I noticed some banter back & forth on fileforum
between the developer of weather pulse & weather watcher, although i like interface of weather watcher better, you
just can't beat the transparent desktop weather & how stable the program has been for me.

I used Weather Pulse for awhile, but was driven almost clinically insane by the fact that it hardly ever updated correctly for me. Every time I'd check it, the data would be really old, and I couldn't even get it to manually refresh.
Right now I'm using the Weather Monitor plugin for True Launch Bar (http://www.truelaunchbar.com/), which is shareware. It works pretty well, but has shortcomings of its own.

I use Weather Pulse myself. I tried Weather Watcher too but didn't like it as well. There is a shareware app. called Storm Preditor that I tried that uses near real time NWS radar in the interface that was cool, but was a little pricey from what I remember. I wish I would of purchased it now it is great for tracking severe storms which are plentiful in Texas.
