@4wd -couldn't have said it better.

Thank you for the tip!

An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk?  Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger."

The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"

"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist.  "How about why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?" as he smiled smugly.

"Okay," she said.  "Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first.  A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass.  Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps.  Why do you suppose that is?"

The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea."

To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss God, Heaven and Hell, or life after death, when you don't know shit?"

And then she went back to reading her book.

@Curt,
Have never worked with an ESR before, so it's good to hear about your experience.

@Deozaan,
Do like Vivaldi too and it sounds promising but too soon to become default.

As of late, since extensions are plenty, Slimjet has become my default.

Will miss "find as you type" feature in Firefox with "enter" to open the link found in page.

Some people go for an ESR version or go to Waterfox or even Palemoon.

For some reason, Waterfox is giving me a bunch of problems and won't sync with Mozilla.
Palemoon? Too many issues there too (worse than Waterfox imo).

Once upon a time...

There was a browser far superior to others.
Unequalled in tweakability (extensions, GUI etc.).
With Firefox 57, all the legacy extensions have "gracefully" been kicked out the door (or will be crippled in their new version).
Even basic options such as ctrl+shift+b to show/hide bookmarks toolbar have disappeared.

If it took more than 10 years to get a fast loading Firefox with increased webpage rendering,
how long will it take to get back some decent extensions to give back its initial splendor?

It was nice to have you as my default browser for over 13 years and more!

Thank you Mozilla for this great now defunct browser.
