Title: It's time for NANY and GOE mug pictures!
Post by: mouser on February 11, 2008, 06:19 PM
OK those coders who participated in the recent NANY (http://nany2008.donationcoder.com) (New Apps for the New Year) and GOE (http://goe2007.donationcoder.com) (Getting Organized Experiment) Programming Challenges should be receiving your DonationCoder Cody Mugs right about now.

As is our tradition (see last year's photo thread here (https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=6554.0)), I'm asking all of you to post a photo of you with your mug!

So all participants in the last NANY or GOE please post a reply with a picture of you and your mug!!

This whole thing has been nothing short of a religious experience for me.

As much I hate seeing my own picture... here it is.. Me with my two most important coding tools, my 2007 GOE mug for copious amounts of caffeine infused liquids and inspiration during those unforgiving debugging sessions, and my trusty early 80's model M keyboard, that with a weight of over 5 pounds serves me well in hand to hand combat and drives everyone else from the room with it's buckle spring clicky keys, just the thing for coding in solitude...

Currently enjoying a nice hot cup of Hattialli Esate Assam BOPF (http://www.uptontea.com/shopcart/item.asp?itemID=TA64) from my new GOE mug to start tonight's session... :)

Thanks for sharing that pic, ChalkTrauma  The recursion is a nice touch (hint: check out the monitor behind ChalkTrauma...).

Not exactly my best photo, but my mom had no idea how to work the camera ;D (that, and I was kinda holding it awkwardly...)

Really cool mug design, I must say :)

(Note the Geek Squad shirt - I just noticed that...)

(Edit: Note HUGE resolution...download and view with Windows is probably better... :P)

Can't wait to show it to everyone

Sorry about photo quality...

that looks pretty nice Blaster!
for everyone wondering, blaster chose a sweatshirt because he had already won a mug in the past.  so all of you who have won mugs you can also request any custom object you want for your next reward :)

Your jaw doesn't look like it's made of tin to me! But perhaps if your skull icon is accurate, it's underneath that skin... No wonder you didn't show any teeth in your smile!  :P
