General Software Discussion / Re: Worst. Interface. Ever.

@ rjbull:
Sorry, i didn't get what you mean...I'm not very experienced in emacs, actually, but I've seen my professors use it,and i got astonished, for those who know its keyboard shortcuts,(not even all of them, cause i know there is one that gives you the rest),emacs can do some great editing (and not only, since i've also heard it even has a lisp interpreter!),IMHO at least...
I don't know what you mean by RSI..
Just out of curiosity, are you a vim user? Don't you support my opinion that there isn't any less intuitive program than vim?

OK...now autoscroll is working with opera!
But i think something is wrong, because if i do ctrl+shift+prtsc and then press shift+click,it does the region select, and if i do ctrl+shift+click,it does the autoscroll cap an everything works allright, but if i do ctrl+click (to capture the window),again, nothing happens..
As for the icon,I've just understood the problem.I use blackbox for windows, and i have the option of shift-rightclicking the icons on the taskbar and make them disappear, and then when i need them again,i go to the taskbar menu and make them appear again. The problem is that if i make sc's icon disappear,it completely vanishes, not appearing on the taskbar menu to be brought back.this is the first app that does this, and it doesn't happen with farr nor with process tammer.not a big deal,i can not make it disappear and no problem,it just stays there!  :D

OK...It would be great if it would work in opera,it's a great feature!
The problem with the icon..I really don't know why that happened,i couldn't see it,but it was running in the processes..
Maybe it was because i didn't reboot after i installed it,or something like that..
Anyways,i just ran it again, and now it had no problems, the icon appeared and stayed there (last time,it appeared when sc was loaded, but disappeared after less than a second)
So..As of this moment, appart from that opera and msnmessenger, everything works as advertised

f0dder i have to agree with you, regardless EMACS  is an extremely powerfull tool,it looks just bad! still, and as you mentioned that kind of apps,i would have to say that the worst interface ever, would be vim! I tried using it once, ran it under Linux on command line, and took me loads of time to even be able to exit it! (i even think i had to restart the machine) I think that nothing about vim makes sense, and i can't see the point of using such editor if you have emacs ;)
Just now, thinking about it,i don't even know if vim can be included in this thread,as there is no interface.. (or is there one and i couldn't find it???)

ps: this is just IMHO,vim users please don't try to send me an anthrax-filled letter or something like that!  :-\

I must say.. scrolling cap is great! although...There's nothing perfect, right ;) (well..maybe farr is )
It worked great with Directory Opus, and with pspad, but it has problems with both opera and msnmessenger  :(
In opera,it identifies the window correctly, but when i do ctrl+shift+click, nothing happens..
In msnmessenger, both the conversation window and the contacts window get misidentified, the whole window gets selected, instead of the part of the window that is scrollable....This gets extremely strange pictures, but no scrolling is done.
BTW,i can't see the icon in the taskbar..Is it my computer's problem or does anyone else not see him?
(ps: i'm using the latest release,2.09.08 and not the beta release)
