----------------
- Introduction -
----------------

Dimensions-2-Folders is a small utility to sort images into folders based on
their resolutions.

---------
- Usage -
---------

Choose a source folder containing the images you want to process, a destination
folder to sort your images to, set your options (explained below), and click the
"Go" button.

-----------
- Options -
-----------

1) "Recurse source folder": Scan through the source folder's sub-directories.

2) "Show destination folder after run: Launch an Explorer window of the
   destination folder when done.

3) "Folder delimiter": Allows for custom formatting, e.g., 800x600, 800 x 600,
   800X600, 800$600, etc.

4) "Copy files to destination": Make copies of the original images in the
destination folder. This is the preferred method as it doesn't affect your
   original files.

5) "Move files to destination": Move the original images into the destination
folder. Please note that there is no undo function or anything like that in
this program. If you're unsure of how the images are going to be sorted, use
the "Copy files to destination" option.

-----------
- Methods -
-----------

1) "Sort all images": Automatically creates a folder for each image resolution.
You can choose to sort based on width only, height only, or both.

2) "Sort only images that match these resolutions": Allows you to configure only
certain resolutions to sort. In addition to configuring specific
resolutions, you can also set a +/- tolerance for each resolution to match
those images that are "close" to your target resolution. For instance, if
you set a width of 800, a height of 600, and a tolerance of 20, this will
match any image with a resolution between 780 and 620. All such images will
be sorted into an 800x600 folder. If you want to match a resolution EXACTLY,
set the tolerance to 0. If you choose the separate folder option, non-exact
matches within tolerances will be put into their own folder. Using the above
example, close matches will be put into a folder named "800 x 600 [~20]" (or
   whatever delimiter you have specified)

3) "Sort only images that match this aspect ratio": Allows you to only sort
images that match a certain aspect ratio. You can also set a percentage
tolerance. For example, given a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 2% tolerance:

   16 / 9 = 1.78
   1.78 * 0.98 = 1.74
   1.78 * 1.02 = 1.82

All images with an aspect ratio between 1.74 and 1.82 would match and be
sorted into a folder named "16 x 9" (or whatever delimiter you have
specified). In addition, you can set an additional filter based on total
number of pixels in the image. For instance, say you want to sort out some
large wallpapers that are 16:9. You can set only a really high lower limit
to filter out smaller images that are 16:9 but really aren't big enough to be
   used as a wallpaper.

- Other notes -
---------------

1) You can drag & drop folders onto the source and destination fields.

2) Filename collisions will be automatically renamed like this:

   image_file.jpg
   image_file[1].jpg
   image_file[2].jpg
   image_file[3].jpg
   ...
